Why Utilise ELL Leveled Reader Packs
Designed for all teachers of ELLs (English language language learners), including mainstream classroom teachers with petty or no experience teaching ELLs, the ELL Leveled Reader packs are a comprehensive resource for scaffolding reading pedagogy for ELLs at all proficiency levels.
Each pack supports ELLs' need for vocabulary, grammar, and writing educational activity in order to build English linguistic communication listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.
Teachers can follow the lesson plan step-by-step and day-by-day, or they can select individual vocabulary, grammar, writing, or cess materials to back up a variety of education scenarios.

A multiday lesson programme provides students with multiple exposures to each text. Vocabulary and grammar is recycled throughout the lesson plan; multiple exposures lead to stronger language conquering and progress.
Icons throughout the lesson programme identify opportunities for students to interact with each other in paired oral language discussions, to explain or justify their answers, to exercise the lesson'due south grammar focus and to render to the text to notice specific information.

How to Use ELL Leveled Reader Packs
Teachers select ELL Leveled Reader Packs based on their students' course and linguistic communication proficiency levels. A variety of titles are bachelor across the content areas of linguistic communication arts, math, scientific discipline, social studies, and basic social and instructional language.
Many of the packs are suitable for use at multiple grades and language levels. This provides teachers with flexibility in planning small groups for reading instruction.
Each pack contains a multiday lesson programme with preparation notes.
- A vocabulary chart, with pupil-friendly definitions, parts of voice communication, and Spanish cognates, prepares teachers to provide multiday vocabulary instruction.
- Grammar notes provide background data on the grammar focus of each book in linguistic communication that is easily understood by teachers who are not familiar with teaching grammar.
The lesson plan follows the same pattern on each 24-hour interval of pedagogy. Each twenty-four hours of instruction includes an instructional focus, reading focus, and vocabulary focus. Teachers simply follow the step-by-footstep directions for each section.
